InterMundial Foundation, FITUR, and ITH announce the finalists for the 1st Responsible Tourism Awards
The InterMundial Foundation has announced the finalists for the first edition of the Responsible Tourism Awards, organized in partnership with FITUR and the Hotel Technology Institute. The eight finalists were selected from 56 entries across 13 countries, all of which are exhibiting companies at FITUR 2018.
The 1st Responsible Tourism Awards recognize the commitment of tourism companies working to develop and promote tourism that advocates for environmentally, economically, and socially responsible practices. The awards consist of four categories: Hospitality, Transport, Tourism Products and Services, and a special mention for the Destinations category.

Finalists for the 1st Responsible Tourism Awards, Tourism Products and Services category: Pausanias Viajes Arqueológicos y Culturales, Pescaturismo S.L.
Finalists for the 1st Responsible Tourism Awards, special mention, Destinations: Catalonia, Gijón
The jury responsible for selecting the winners in each category will consist of Manuel López, Trustee of the InterMundial Foundation and CEO of InterMundial; Ana Larrañaga, Director of FITUR; Álvaro Carrillo, Director of the ITH; Javier del Nogal, General Director of Tourism & Law; Germán Porras, Secretary General of the Tourism Board; Juan Molas, President of CEHAT; Ramón Estalella, Secretary General of CEHAT; and Mariano López, Director of the specialized magazine VIAJAR.
The winners will be announced on January 18 during an awards ceremony held at the Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR), organized by IFEMA from January 17 to 21 at Feria de Madrid.
