The InterMundial Foundation has helped charter a bus to bring Ukrainians to Spain. The bus made the trip to Ukraine loaded with medical supplies, food, and clothing, according to the organization.
The InterMundial Foundation will continue its solidarity efforts for Ukraine and will donate two euros to refugee aid associations for every policy sold of its best-selling insurance.
The expedition organized by Galucrania, a Galician association created to manage aid for the war-torn country, in collaboration with the InterMundial Foundation and Novas Rías buses, reached the border between Ukraine and Poland late last week.
The meeting point was the bus station in Przemysl, a town near Lviv.
The bus made the outbound journey loaded with essential medical supplies, food, and clothing. The trip was carried out by two drivers and young Sergiy Nigeruk, a Vilagarcía native with Ukrainian parents, who served as a translator.
Once there, 30 Ukrainians made the return trip to Spain, arriving as families consisting mostly of women and children. In the initial stages, the Association provides psychological support and establishes contact with a Ukrainian doctor to address their immediate needs.
With this collaboration, the InterMundial Foundation continues its efforts to help the Ukrainian people since the conflict began. In recent weeks, several shipments of aid have already been sent through Roman Maslov, a former InterMundial Group employee who collaborates with the ConUcrania association.
In addition, a new initiative has been launched in which, from the best-selling insurance of InterMundial two euros will be donated for every policy purchased to continue supporting the work of these associations.
