Radio InterMundial, a discussion on entrepreneurship and innovation in online business, a collaboration agreement with FETAVE, a meeting with travel bloggers, and the presentation of the revamped Pack Plus.

From January 28 to February 1, professionals, experts, tourism enthusiasts, and travelers have an unmissable appointment at booth 10E04 of InterMundial at the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair, to get exclusive, first-hand information on how the tourism sector performed over the past year.

For one, the broker will share tourism insights compiled throughout the year using its own data, including a tourism summary, traveler behavior, the most frequent travel incidents, and the most relevant industry news from 2014.

Furthermore, it will take the pulse of the tourism sector via Radio InterMundial, which will conduct live interviews with various tourism stakeholders attending FITUR—from professionals across different subsectors to specialized journalists, bloggers, and organizers—to gather and share their opinions and expertise on current issues affecting the industry.

InterMundial Seguros signs a collaboration agreement with FETAVE

Through this agreement, InterMundial, a leading travel insurance broker, will become a partner of the Spanish Federation of Territorial Associations of Travel Agencies (FETAVE), providing its members with fully specialized, tailor-made products and services. The document will be signed by InterMundial CEO Manuel López and FETAVE President Cruz Pérez Valdivieso. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 28, at 12:00 p.m. at the FETAVE booth (10B24).

Talk and debate: "Entrepreneurship and innovation in online business"

On Thursday the 29th at 4:00 p.m. at the InterMundial booth (10E04), we will discuss the challenges of online business. Tourism&Law, a legal firm specializing in tourism and part of the InterMundial Group, in collaboration with Young Lawyers in Motion (JAM), will lead a must-attend debate for any professional thinking about starting their own online business, as well as for executives at any company in the sector that distributes products online.

The discussion will feature prominent professionals such as Raúl Sánchez, Director of B2B & Working Capital Optimization at American Express; Chema González, founder of Alterkeys and member of BMate; and Juan Gonzalo Ospina, President of JAM. Esther Montalvá, a lawyer at Tourism&Law and Secretary of the AJA Tourism and New Technologies Commission, will open the debate.

Topics will include how opportunities for entrepreneurship arise, the legal hurdles encountered when starting and developing an online business, how payment methods affect these types of businesses, and how to continue innovating once a business is established.

Crunch: The TravelBloggers meetup

On Friday, January 30, at 12:30 p.m., an informal meeting with travel bloggers will take place, offering a chance to connect outside the virtual world while enjoying an original brunch.

Presentation of Pack Plus 2015: The new generation of travel insurance

InterMundial has listened to the industry and has improved and revamped Pack Plus, the specific insurance solution for travel agents and tour operators. The new Pack Plus 2015 increases coverage limits for the most important traveler needs, such as medical expenses, cancellation, and luggage, while adding new cancellation reasons and new coverage options. Additionally, it improves the cancellation insurance range with the Annual Multi-Trip policy and the cruise range with the Cruceros Plus non-cancellation policy. It also introduces new products, such as the new Pet Plus—the first travel insurance for pets—and incorporates the new Supplier Bankruptcy guarantee, which covers travelers in the event of the bankruptcy of hotels, airlines, and other service providers.

In collaboration with Europ Assistance, InterMundial will provide coverage to all visitors, exhibitors, and co-exhibitors through the insurance included in the Pasaporte Fitur, which will be active throughout the days of the fair, including the entire setup and teardown period.
