Travelers who need to take this diagnostic test simply need to visit one of the establishments in InterMundial's network of partner agencies and request an accreditation document, which will allow them to go to any of the more than 500 collection points enabled throughout the country.

The PCR test, which requires taking a sample with a swab from the nasopharyngeal mucosa, is the primary test used to detect coronavirus and, due to its high reliability, is the only one accepted for presenting a negative result in destinations that require it.

Once at the laboratory, and without the need for any medical prescription, the traveler will present their certificate and receive an automatic discount of up to 80 euros on the price of the test.

After the PCR sample is taken, the traveler will receive both the diagnostic test result and the official medical certificate from the laboratory via email within a maximum of 48 hours, which they can use to prove their negative PCR status to the authorities.

InterMundial also offers the option to receive the certificate in just 6 hours from the time of collection for travelers who need the result urgently.
