5th Hotel CSR Awards: Call for entries now open
The InterMundial Foundation has opened the registration period for the 5th edition of the Hotel CSR Awards, an accolade established in 2012 to reward and highlight the daily efforts of Spanish hotels in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The award, organized by the InterMundial Foundation in partnership with Tourism&Law and the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation (CEHAT), is held every two years and features three categories corresponding to the three pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility: environmental, social, and economic. Additionally, as a new feature for this 5th edition, the organizers have added a fourth category to recognize initiatives focused on collaboration and support during the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
All hotels that have implemented socially responsible policies over the last two years and belong to a federation or association that is a member of CEHAT are eligible to apply. Establishments interested in participating in this edition must submit their application online using the form available on the website https://www.fundacionintermundial.es/premiorschotelera.php
The submission period opens on Monday, October 4th, and will close on Friday, October 22nd. The awards will be presented during the CEHAT Spanish Hoteliers Congress, which will take place this year in Oviedo from November 17th to 19th.
Previous editions
In the last edition, held in Malaga in 2018, the winners of the Hotel CSR Awards were Hotel Barcelona 1882 in the Social category, ML Hoteles in the Economic category, and Hotel La Isla y el Mar in Lanzarote in the category recognizing environmental initiatives.
