W2M chooses InterMundial to minimize losses for travel agencies
World2Meet, a global tourism services provider owned by the Iberostar Group, has signed an agreement with InterMundial, Spain's leading insurance broker for the tourism sector, to jointly spearhead an insurance solution for the bed bank sector that will allow travel agencies to minimize losses from cancellations.
The signing of the agreement, which took place at the InterMundial offices in Madrid, was attended by Manuel López, CEO of InterMundial, and Fernando Lucini, Director of W2M Pro.
- According to Manuel López, CEO of InterMundial, this agreement provides a fundamental tool for minimizing financial losses for clients and agencies in the event of booking cancellations. “This agreement is committed to providing total protection for the client from the moment they book until they return, ensuring they are covered against any unforeseen event, such as medical expenses, luggage theft, hotel changes, loss of services, and more.”
- For Fernando Lucini, the tool“stands out for its agile and fast booking process, which is integrated directly into the travel agency's own reservation system, making it the most innovative and cutting-edge solution in the bed bank segment.”
- This partnership is part of an ambitious international program supported by 15 national and international InterMundial offices.
- Through this agreement, W2M and InterMundial offer greater protection to travel agencies, allowing them to transfer their risks and avoid the financial losses caused by booking cancellations.
